7. Movement of Molecules in Air As the flame heats up the air, the molecules move faster, they spread out making the hotter air less dense (lighter) than the cooler dense air (heavier). There are fewer molecules in the hotter air than in the cool air.

9. Explanation: Land warms faster than the ocean. During the day lands air warms, because its lighter it goes up. In the atmosphere it cools and becomes heavy so it comes back down. You can feel the breeze coming from the ocean towards land. At night, land cools faster than the ocean. So the movement of air is inverted. You’ll feel the breeze coming from land to the ocean.
