Jackals could eat the bad meat off something and not die so the Egyptians could just take the meat that was edible, so they valued jackals a lot.

Cats were a really appreciated animal in Egypt and Persia, the Egyptians and Persians were going to have a war, but the Persians put cats and dogs in front of they’re army and the Egyptians ran away.

Scarab beetles were the most important insect in Egypt. They would symbolize rolling the sun because they would roll poop.

Crocodiles symbolized the pharaohs power because people both feared and respected crocodiles but they were dangerous.

Hippos symbolized rebirth, and is represented in the goddess Tauret, who protected woman in childbirth.

The ancient Egyptian animals were created by the gods of Egypt, also given rights equal to mankind.
