3 African Spoonbill Threat: They are not endangered Habitat The African Spoonbill usually resides by shallow inland water. This bird’s habitat includes river banks, lake shores, marshes, plains, swamps and water meadows Diet Fish and aquatic invertebrates such as crustaceans or shellfish, insects, larvae and molluscs. Behaviour The African Spoonbill is usually a shy bird

4 African Wood Owl Threat They are not endangered. Habitat Forests of southern Africa Diet They eat insects, birds, reptiles and small mammals Behaviour African wood owls nests in tree hollows

5 Egyptian Fruit Bat Threat Habitat Not endangered. They live in the southern of Africa. Diet Behaviour They eat fruit. They sleep through day time.

6 Cheetah THREAT They are not endangered Habitat Cheetahs are found throughout the drier regions of sub – Saharan Africa Diet They are carnivores (meat eaters)

7 Giraffe Threat They are not endangered. Habitat Giraffes are found in the dry savannahs of south Africa. Diet They mostly feed on trees and have a long time with out water.

8 Cameroon Sheep Information One or occasionally two lambs are born after pregnancy of about 5 months in late winter or early spring Threat They are not endangered Habitat Cameroon sheep were domesticated in Cameroon in west Central Africa. Diet Cameroon sheep eat grass and their cleft upper lip helps them to graze very close to the ground. This close grazing improves the fertility of the grassland upon which they feed They are herbivores
