2 To be able to speak about local habitats. To know the stages of the life cycle of some living things. To be able to speak about why animals behaviour changes because of the season.

3 :We are going to show you four of the European animals we are focusing on :Mink :White headed duck :European ground squirrel :El hierro giant lizard

4 Mink Did you know the European mink lives in Russia,France,Spain,Ukraine and Estonia They eat voles and muskrats as well as crabs and fish. The Mink’s habitat is in its burrow which they dig themselves in the winter.

5 The white headed duck lives in Russia and Spain they also live in the African continent.They eat larvae and lug worms their habitat is the water

6 The European ground squirrel lives in the south east part of Europe. They eat plants such as roots and seeds. Their habitat is a burrow.

7 The Lizard lives only in Spain’s Canary Island.They like to eat plants, leaves and stems, their habitat is Canary Islands.

8 The weather in the summer if it’s good the animals will stay outdoors and when it comes to the winter most animals hibernate they usually hibernate for about two months or more. In thunder and lightning they usually stay in their burrows.
