4 Lead in: what is a trade fair? It is an exhibition organized so that companies in a specific industry can showcase and demonstrate their new products or services. Generally speaking, trade fairs are not open to the public and can only be attended by company representative and members of the press. Objective for a trade fair: gather relevant information, secure publicity, identify potential customers, etc.
