1  Project Background ◈ Lack of skilled labor due to avoidance of 3D jobs → Increased risks of power failure and fire due to unskilled cable terminal installation. ◈ Impossible to check accurate lead-in of cable conductor with the naked eye after cable terminal work using existing copper electric terminal. ◈ The copper electric terminal connecting cable and equipments is the place where the electric currents gather and there always occurs heating caused by bottle neck phenomenon of electric currents. ◈ Due to Notification of SC 2619Copper Electric Terminal, difficulty in producing copper terminal of accurate standard and its test (lack of domestic standard) ◈ Even though power is supplied to check poor installation works, there is great difficulty in reinstallation ( loss such as stoppage of production line )  Expected Effects ◈ Possible to manage the electric terminal part systematically and stepwise after power is supplied ( Add stepwise temperature detection function for washer, copper electric terminal and insulation cap ) ◈ Possible to check accurate lead-in of cable conductor with the naked eye when working on electric terminal and to detect improper installation work in advance (High-quality installation) ◈ Possible to check the electric terminal status of the copper electric terminal and cable after working on the terminals with the naked eye ( prevention effect of power failure and fire )

2  Risk of Screen Burn? ◈ When the high polymer materials such as electricity wire is heated, the pyrolysis of the material begins and gas is generated from 80 ℃. Inside of the connecting material, heat accumulation begins. As the temperature of the material increases, smoke is generated. If it continues to be heated beyond ignition point, spark will be generated to ignite fire. (For common PVC wire insulator, the range of ignition point is 250~400 ℃ ) ◈ Arc is the electric discharge generated in the insulator which accompanies the burn-out. The duration of arc is various from immediate to extended time. The size of circulated electric current and duration of arc are the main causes for fire. In addition arc defect may cause the heat over 1000 ℃ even with small electric current. Therefore, arc may directly cause the fire or indirectly by generating the cause through screen burn of the insulators.  Risk of Arc Generation?
