11 Recruiting General Thoughts: Contact the School/Coach Most schools have a recruitment form Send the school what they ask for Do Your Homework Check current roster Check Coach history/grad rates Does the university fit your overall needs? Look Beyond the League 95%+ of student athletes in DI do NOT go pro Who will you be when you are done playing?

12 Recruiting Regulations (NCAA): Visits Official-Paid by institution-limit of 5 at DI, unlimited at DII-Only during senior year at this time Unofficial-Paid by family-unlimited-can happen at any time Calls/Texts (if allowed) Coaches can call you after June 15 before Jr. year You can call a coach anytime Benefits/Amateurism Do not work with an agent! Do not take gear/money/gifts on visits!
