In addition we will do the following:  Frequent free writes  Three papers/projects (1 st Amendment, Journalist, Portfolio final)  Monthly articles (for school newspaper … some are self-selected, some are assigned)  Responses to articles/newspaper editorials  Interviewing practice  Research writing– the annotated bibliography – while studying the journalism craft  Various exercises including summaries of news articles to be posted online

4. I come prepared to provide high quality instruction using various and sundry means of delivering and assessing that instruction. You will always know where you stand and how to get help should you need it. Please write it down in a clear and concise paragraph… Let’s look at fusion… Homework…read chapter one in JM and “Your Beat” on p. 17 compile the list of 10 politically correct terms and answer question one posed there. Be prepared for a quiz on chapter one Friday. Ask your questions Wednesday.
