Trial in Whitburn & Marsden Area from September (1500 props) Positive Outcomes: Recycling tonnages have increased +14% Refuse tonnages have decreased –16% Minimal problems encountered by crew and public. Positive response from public and collection crews Very small number of complaints Very few residents put out excess waste (incl Christmas period) Alternate Weekly Collections – Whitburn & Marsden Trial

6. 100k less kilometres travelled by our Refuse Collection fleet 60,000 litres fuel saved Reduction in landfill down to 31,500 tonnes each year Reduction over 3 million kgs of CO2 emissions.
