2 How do I journal? There are two ways in which you can journal: 1. Log in to PDR Online and type in comments. Refer to page 3 for detailed instructions on this option. 2. Forward emails and attached documents to PDR Online. Refer to page 10 for detailed instructions on this option. Please note, use option 2 if you wish to upload documents to your journal. 8 8 Click here to add a journal entry. NOTE: Your supervisor/manager cannot see and does not have access to anything you enter in your journal. For more information, please go to the PDR website or contact us pdr@mq.edu.au. Page 8 of 10pdr@mq.edu.au

9 9 Type in your notes and comments and click Save. NOTE: Create tags by typing the ‘#’ symbol before any word in a journal note (e.g., #Research or #Process_Improvement_Project). 10 10 2. Highlight, right mouse click and copy your personal journal address to the “To” box of an email you wish to forward. OPTION 2: Forward emails to PDR Online 1. Log in to PDR Online and go into your journal as described in pages 3 to 9 of this guide. 3. To access this email address throughout the year, either: Save it to your contacts list. Recall it by typing “my journal” into the “To” box of an email. Log back into PDR Online to copy and paste it into the “To” box of an email. NOTE: Insert tags by typing the ‘#’ symbol before any word in an email (e.g., #Research or #Process_Improvement_Project). This will help you sort and search for notes with the same tag.
