10 Expectations of the Training Division in brief Sector/Department chosen for ITP, rationale for selecting a particular dept. Intensive Training Programme under Plan Scheme “Training for All” After signing the MoU with DoPT, Director GIRDA suggested, to send out letters to five departments like Education, Health, Collectorate, PWD, Municipal Administration asking them their training requirements. Out of these five departments only Collectorate responded positively and spelt out their training requirements. Accordingly it was decided to undertake intensive training programme for both the District Collectorates.

11 The Collector suggested that 3 tier training may be imparted to the below mentioned Officers/Officials, with the respective areas to be covered: 1.Training to Section Head /Supdt/UDC/LDC, HC, Steno : Responsibility at Head Quarters Level. 1.Training to Section Head /Supdt/UDC/LDC, HC, Steno : Responsibility at Head Quarters Level. 2.Training of Talathis: Development of Revenue intelligence & prompt reporting. 2.Training of Talathis: Development of Revenue intelligence & prompt reporting. 3.Training for Mamlatdars, Dy. Collector/SDO : Exhaustive training on Civil Administration, Finance & Magisterial system and Supervisory Administration 3.Training for Mamlatdars, Dy. 12 Reasons for selecting a particular district Since Goa is a small state with only two districts, both the districts are selected. Accordingly the training was started in November, 2010. Accordingly the training was started in November, 2010. Total Staff of Collectorate i.e. Number of Persons to be trained under the TFA scheme is approx 595 Officers/Officials.
