3. REGULAR VERBS Verbs whose INFINITIVES end in -ar follow a pattern.

4. REGULAR VERBS The endings show who is doing the action: (yo) hablo, (tú) hablas, and so on.

7. IRREGULAR VERBS The verb you are about to learn, “ir” is IRREGULAR. It means “to go” in English. It is often followed by the word a: Voy al cine.

10. You must put to memory the forms of “ir” because it is an irregular verb and it follows no pattern.
