Cisco Confidential 7 Parent Product: Top level product; also referred to as the chassis or major line item and is typically priceable Child Product: P roducts linked or associated to the parent; also referred to as the minor line item and is typically $0 Product Configuration: The parent product and all associated child products Standalone product: A product in the database not linked or associated to any other product Upload Manager: Tool used to link a standalone child product, delink a configured child product in the Cisco database OR move a configured child product to a different parent product in the Cisco database and on the contract Asset Management: Tool used to add a child product to a parent on contract OCM: Online Contract Management

Cisco Confidential 11 Processing the Upload Manager templates: 1.From Upload manager, select the request type 2.Click the Browse button and attach the template 3.Enter a ‘Request Name’ 4.Enter your email address 5.Add any ‘Notes’ (optional) 6.Click Submit 7.An offline request ID number will populate

Cisco Confidential 14 5.In the pop-up window select the radio button next to the product 6.Select Add Minor to Major from the dropdown menu 7.Click Go 8.A second pop-up window will appear 9.Select your filter method and enter the associated value 10.Click Search

Cisco Confidential 15 11.Check the box next to the appropriate child item below 12.Select either ‘Add Minor to Configuration and Contract’ or ‘Add Minor to Configuration Only’ 13.The pop-up window will close and return to the initial window 14.Click Submit All

Cisco Confidential 16 1.From the Contracts Tab select ‘Asset Management’ 2.Enter your search criteria 3.Click ‘Set Filter’ 4.Check the box next to the desired parent product below 5.Select ‘Perform Asset Management on Selected Products’ 6.Click Go 7.Follow steps 5-14 previously provided

Cisco Confidential 17 1.Search your contract in CSCC 2.Check the install site you would like to add a product to** 3.From the Action dropdown menu select ‘Add Uncovered Product(s) to Contract’ 4.Click Go **Please use Address Management to locate an address not already on the contract or to create a new target address!

Cisco Confidential 19 8.CSCC will validate your request; any errors must be resolved before the minor lines can be added 9.Click Submit to process all valid lines 10.A pop-up window will appear with the offline request ID for any non- price impacting lines 11.For priceable lines click Submit to generate a quote

Cisco Confidential 21 5.Populate the template with the desired serial numbers and part numbers 6.In column B, indicate whether the line is the major or minor line item by using the dropdown menu 7.Create a relationship between the major and minor lines in column C. List the major lines as whole numbers (e.g. 1, 2, 3) and the minor lines as their subsequent decimals (e.g. 1.1, 1.2, 1.3) 8.Populate the remaining template columns with the desired line item information. Note: This is only required for the major lines as the minor lines will inherit the information from its parent

Cisco Confidential 22 9.From the Import page, click the Browse button and attach the desired file 10.Enter your email address and Request Name (optional) 11.The ‘Validation Results’ and ‘Upload Type’ are pre-populated with the only available options 12.Select the desired ‘Quote Validation Report’ and ‘Validation Approach’ 13.Click Continue and your offline request ID will populate

Run a SNIF report  End of Support  Product status (Latest-Installed, Replaced, etc.)  Check the current status of the parent product Pricing  Is the minor a priceable product?
