2. PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENTS: -Resume -Letter of Recommendation (from senior year) -2 Job Shadow Experiences -Exhibit in Career Expo -Samples from Content Areas and Elective -25 hours of Community Service -Senior Interview Class of 2014

3. Community Service 25 Hours Freshman - Junior years – 5 hours each year Senior year – 10 hours All hours for senior year are due by March 28, 2014; get them in ASAP. If you do not complete your hours, you will not receive a DIPLOMA!

4. Mrs. McCleary Located next to cafeteria Tons of opportunities to get your hours done Turn your forms into her or in the main office to her mailbox DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!

5. CAREER EXPO: 11-14 & 11-15 Must complete a career paper Will be put in a group by Mrs. Drahushak Groups will meet THREE times during tutoring to prepare your exhibit for the expo: October 9 October 23 November 6 IF YOU LEAVE ON WORK RELEASE, YOU MUST MAKE PLANS TO STAY ON THOSE DAYS! NO EXCUSES! NO CAREER EXPO, NO GRADUATION!

6. Information Seniors are to interact with underclassmen and community members Displays will be evaluated by School Board Members/Community Members Awards will be given at Academic Award Night for the top three displays Displays will require an interactive piece (Army Pull- Up bar, blood-pressure simulation, BMI calculation by personal trainer/Phys. Ed. group, Communication piece with video/interviews, microscope with specimens to view, etc.)
