25 Audition in Action A local county council had problems retaining staff in their service call centre. Sifting through all the possible candidates took hours and cost huge amounts of money and time and, despite this, their final recruitment decisions didn’t deliver what they wanted. Introducing Audition enabled them to differentiate between ‘most suitable’ and ‘least suitable’ candidates from the start. This has saved them valuable time and resources. A subsidiary of a major European corporation couldn't understand why a high volume of new recruits were underperforming. These recruits received the same training, yet some thrived while others failed. To discover the cause the organisation analysed 115 Facet5 profiles over 8 of their UK centres. The results showed that there was a high correlation between an employee’s Facet5 profile and their performance. This knowledge has since had improved their recruitment ‘hit rate’ hugely.
