2 What is a Revolution? A radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure, especially one made suddenly and often accompanied by violence. A sudden, complete or marked change in something

3 Paleolithic Age (Old Stone Age) Characteristics Hunted, fished and gathered wild fruits. From animals they obtained food and from their skins they made clothes. These groups of human beings were nomadic. Moved following the animals that they needed to hunt and looking for plants they could eat. Depending on the areas they lived in caves, outdoors or in cabins. Use stone tools Lived in small tribes. They did not live very long about 35 years. Tribes decorated their caves walls with paintings. The animals were drawn with attention to detail, but the people were usually stick figures.

4 Neolithic Revolution ( New Stone Age) Characteristics: humans learned to simply grow their own food. Wild animals were also domesticated. (use to help humans) Stopped moving from place to place to find food. They built villages, usually situated next to rivers New economy based on production Slavery started used more specialized tools that which were made of stone Government and institutions like Armies and court began.
