5. CHARACTERISTIC OF A STORY A GOOD STORY: TELLS THE EVENTS CLEARLY HAS A BEGINNING, MIDDLE AND END IS INTERESTING TO READ

6. PLAN Write the title of your story INTRODUCTION (Paragraph 1) Setting the scene (people involved, time, place) Catching the reader´s attention Addressing the reader directly Asking a rhetorical question (no answer is expected) Use your senses to make the description more lively.

Past Perfect is used to give the background of the story (e.g. He had planned to visit his parents a long time before.)
