11 Report Methodology  The Following Methodology was employed ‒Review of existing training conditions for OCFRD and other fire agencies in the region​ ‒Site visits to training venues used by OCFRD​ ‒Focus group meeting attended by regional fire and police agencies and Valencia College​ ‒Identify existing training condition issues and concerns​ ‒Detailed needs assessment of OCFRD training, including hands-on and classroom activities​ ‒Determination of what is needed to improve OCFRD training from a facilities standpoint​

12 Report Methodology  The Following Methodology was employed ‒Web-based survey of fire service agencies in the region to better assess their training facility needs​ ‒One-on-one meetings with Valencia College staff​ ‒Detailed facility, equipment, and site assessment that identifies the major components of the training center​ ‒Detailed financial and resource assessment to identify construction and O & M costs​ ‒Develop options for training center governance and management​
