4 Unit Exams (49.99%) Four exams 40- multiple choice questions- May have essays No Makeups Lowest grade will be dropped You may use a review sheet for those exams (read about the requirements on the Eagle Online and on the syllabus) DO NOT WRITE ON THE EXAM BOOKLET

5 Departmental Final Exam (16.67) 100 Multiple-choice questions Available on dates shown in Course Calendar Exam format –2-hour time limit No notes or books allowed May not be given early Must score at least 50% correct to pass course Missed exam will result in a grade of “F” in the course

6 Assignments 16.67% Complete instructions and grading criteria posted in “Assignment Guidelines” folder on Eagle Online. Total of four assignments Print the assignment and bring it to class to work on it on the first 10 minutes of class Lowest grades will be dropped Late work is not accepted (you must turn in your assignment the day of your exams)

7 Participation (16.67%) Be on time for class Work on your assignment the first 10 minutes of class. Participate in class discussions Ask questions

8 Extra credit Go to http http://personality-testing.info/tests/BIG5.php and take the Big Five Personality Test. Complete the online test prior to due date (April 13, 2016), SAVE RESULTS for your own reference. You must write a one page summary of what you learned about yourself based on the test and whether or not you agree with the findings.http://personality-testing.info/tests/BIG5.php

9 Class Rules No cell phone use is allowed Do not change your seat. Class starts at 8 so I expect you to be here at 8, however, I do allow a grace period which is 20 minutes, classroom door will be closed at 8:20. Lectures start at 8:10 Laptop use is only for note taking. There are no stupid questions

10 Pet peeves Students who sleep during lectures. Text messaging while in class Eating in class Not participating during discussion times.

11 Would you rather? Receive a lifetime supply of meals from your favorite restaurant or receive free gasoline? Have a photographic memory or be able to totally forget everything you want? Would you rather give a public speech or hold a snake? Drive a nice car or have a gorgeous home?
