9 Benefits of PSAT/NMSQT PSAT/NMSQT The PSAT/NMSQT includes five sections: Two 25-minute critical reading sections Two 25-minute math sections One 30-minute writing skills section The PSAT enters juniors into the National Merit Scholarship competition Sign up on e-store (complete and turn in paper form too)

Every year is important It’s where you are right now The last set of grades used by colleges to make an admission decision Excellent time to be developing a list of college Usually take your ACT/SAT/PSAT Great time to visit colleges and talk with admissions professionals, financial aid, students and visit a class Continue to develop your resume It is a good time to show improvements to grades if need be
