3 John Paul Jones  John Paul Jones was born July 6 th 1747 and an officer of the Continental Navy of the American Revolution.  John Paul Jones wasn’t ever married and died at age 45.

4 George Washington  Born February 22 nd, 1732, died December 14 th,1799.  Commander-in-chief of the continental army during the revolutionary war and later elected to be the first president of the first republic(later known as the United States of America).

5 George Washington  Born February 22 nd, 1732, died December 14 th,1799.  Commander-in-chief of the continental army during the revolutionary war and later elected to be the first president of the first republic(later known as the United States of America).  His wife's name was Martha Washington and they had four kids and two survived to young adult hood.

6 Thomas Paine  Born January 29 th, 1737 and died June 8 th, 1809.  In 1760 Thomas Paine’s wife and child both died during birth.

7 Thomas Jefferson  Born April 13 th, 1743 and died July 4 th,1836.  The principle author of the declaration of independence, and later became the 3 rd president of the United States of America.  Governor of Virginia from 1779 to 1781.  Became the United States Minister to France in 1785 and he and his close friend James Madison created the Democratic/Republican parties.  While John Adams became president Jefferson served under him and behind his back secretly created the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions.

9 Founding Fathers  Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Paul and Thomas Jefferson are the founding fathers of America. They along with many others devoted their lives to our country knowing that they could so easily be killed during battle but that did not stop them from fighting for us.

10 Crazy Stuff  At age 22 George Washington took and over dose of medicine due to many aches and issues which led to destruction of the teeth. Because of this and over the years despite desperate care for his mouth, he ended up loosing all of his teeth which resulted having a pair of wooden teeth.

11 Patriot or Loyalist George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and John Paul Jones were all four Patriots and devoted their lives to the colonists.
