3. Wildlife Habitat Manager Wildlife Habitat Managers manage rangeland wildlife, which requires a knowledge of animal requirements and plant attributes. More than 80% of wildlife species in North America spend a significant portion of their life on rangelands.

5. State Agencies The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation employs many OSU graduates. Positions are available as wildlife or fisheries biologists, area managers, and game wardens. The Information and Education Division and the Division of Natural Resources also employ OSU graduates.

7. Federal Agencies The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service employs OSU graduates in Ecological Services (mainly endangered and threatened species) and the National Wildlife Refuge System. Although the following agencies are underrepresented in Oklahoma, they employ our graduates in many other states: National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management. The Department of Defense employs OSU graduates as wildlife biologists on military bases and as area managers for the Army Corps of Engineers. The Natural Resources Conservation Service and the U.S. Forest Service employ wildlife biologists.
