22 CACI Proprietary Information | Date 22 4. Post Upgrade Instructions  4.1 Running FPDS Engine The following error is received when the client machine does not have MSXML version 4.0 SP2 installed as specified. If this error is received when running FPDS Engine on a client machine after the upgrade to FPDS Engine v3.5, MSXML version 4.0 SP2 should be downloaded and installed from a known, safe site, such as www.microsoft.com.

23 CACI Proprietary Information | Date 23 4. Post Upgrade Instructions  4.2 Configuring Cognos Impromptu v7.5 With the upgrade to PD² v4.2 Increment 2 SR13 Cognos Impromptu v7.5 could have been reinstalled. If the client machine is installed by a user other than the user who is going to be running Cognos reports, then two files need to be updated to change the path to a directory that is accessible. The Cognos installer that is bundled with the PD² Client installer sets the path to access the files to the logged in user ID's temporary directory. This directory may not be accessible to other individuals who log onto the machine. The path needs to be updated to point to a directory with which all users or the user who will be accessing the machine has write permissions.

24 CACI Proprietary Information | Date 24 4. Post Upgrade Instructions  4.2 Configuring Cognos Impromptu v7.5 If these changes are not made, users will see the following error when attempting to run any Cognos reports through PD²:
