7 Main aim is upgrading, developing or updating vocational or general skills to increase employability Forms of the training courses: Individual training courses – are indicated by individual person and carried out on request provided that unemployed person proves the usefulness of this training Group training courses – are initiated and organised by labour office and are address to the specific group of the unemployed Who can take part in training courses? Unemployed person Jobseeker (i.e. being in the period of notice) Employed at the age over 45 In the case of: lack of professional qualifications the need to change or improve qualifications due to lack of the appropriate job offers lack of skills in job search Training courses

8 What are the benefits? Scholarship in the amount of 20-120% of the unemployment benefit Possibility to carry on the training course with a right to scholarship equal to 20% of the unemployment benefit in case of undertaking the job Free medical examinations Psychological tests and examination to check any contradiction to perform tasks in particular profession Reimbursement of travel cost to the place of the training course Possibility of financing the accommodation and meals in case the training course takes place behind the place of living Accident insurance Financing the child care during 6 months Training courses

9 Who can take part in training courses? Unemployed person Jobseeker (i.e. being in the period of notice) Employed at the age over 45 What are the benefits? Financing the costs of postgraduate studies up to 300% of the average monthly salary Scholarship in the amount of 20% unemployment benefit Possibility of carry on the postgraduate studies and keeping the right to scholarship in case of taking up the job Financing of postgraduate studies

10 Who can take part in training courses? Unemployed person Jobseeker (i.e. being in the period of notice) Employed at the age over 45 What are the benefits? Possibility to finance the training courses enabling to undertake employment that requires special qualifications The amount of loan can reach up to 400% of the average monthly salary The loans are free of interest The term of its payment can reach even 18 months after completing the training course Loans for financing the training

11 On the request of unemployed person or jobseeker the local labour office can cover the costs of examinations and licences in the amount not exceeding average remuneration. The following may be financed: Costs of examinations after which certificates and diplomas are issued Costs of acquiring the license required to practice a profession Financing the costs of examinations and licences

12 Main aims are: Enabling unemployed person to acquire qualifications and professional skills Gaining experience in the real work place under the supervision of a tutor Who is entitled? Unemployed person in special situation on labour market, i.e.: Unemployed under 25 or 27 in case of university graduate Long term unemployed Unemployed over 50 Unemployed lacking of vocational qualifications Unemployed disabled What are the benefits? Internship can last from 3 up to 12 months Scholarship equal to 120% of unemployment benefit 2 days off after working each 30 days Internship

13 Main aim is to enable unemployed person and jobseekers to broaden their knowledge and gain new qualifications and skills certified by the documents issued at the end of the training which will increase their chances on the labour market Benefits: The programme aims at developing mainly practical skills (80% of the programme) and gaining theoretical knowledge essential to perform vocational tasks The programme is prepared by employer in cooperation with training institution Scholarship equal to 120% of unemployment benefit Realisation in two forms: Vocational training Job-specific apprenticeship Vocational preparation at work place

14 Main aim is to support the unemployed who decide to continue education in order to improve their vocational qualifications Who is eligible for scholarship? Unemployed person without any vocational qualifications who decides to continue education in a supra-primary or supra-secondary school for adults or started to study at a university during 12 months since the day of registration in the local labour office A person entitled to get welfare benefits due to low income What are the benefits? Monthly scholarship equal to 100% of the unemployment benefit for a period of 12 months Monthly scholarship equal to 20% of the unemployment benefit in case of undertaking employment Scholarships for continuing education
