4.  Reflects the sophisticated tastes of the Old World, from Medieval- and Renaissance-inspired castles to Alpine chalets  European home plans are endlessly adaptable and suited for all regions of the United States.  Designs can vary from rustic country cottages, stately manor homes, to fanciful chateaus with towers and turrets.  European house plans typically feature steep, complex rooflines and facades of brick, stone, or stucco.  Made of a mix of materials.  Floor plan is adapted for modern lifestyles.  Allows homeowners to "live abroad" without leaving the country.

INFLUENCE OF EUROPEAN ARCHITECTURE  Influence from European Architecture has had a significant role in shaping Indonesian Architecture.  European Architecture from the Renaissance also had an influence in early western architecture.  European architecture did not have much influence in areas that lacked the required resources(such as bricks, clay, and etc.)

8.  Inspired by the rustic manors that dot the fields of northern and southern France.  Impressive on large properties, it also fits in well in upscale suburban enclaves.  An unmatched sense of style and elegance.  Stately and formal  Often exhibits a square shape with windows balanced on either side of the entrance and a steep hipped roof.  Some are asymmetrical, with multiple roof elements creating a series of visual focal points.  Round towers and entryways hidden beneath rustic arches are common decorative features.  Stone, stucco, and brick are the most used materials for the exterior
