12 What our female teams accomplished this year……… Volleyball; 2 nd in league, 2 nd in districts, and 6th in state Girls Tennis; 14-0, LEAGUE CHAMPS Bowling; League Champions 13-1 Cheerleaders; 1 st in division at “Battle of the Borders,” 5 th by WIAA Cheer Championships Golf; Mary Fontenot and Carli Vernon to state, Team 8th Soccer; 2 nd in league, district play-offs Swimming; Amanda Putzier swimmer and Elizabeth Belcher diver advance to state Basketball; 1st in league, ranked in top ten of state Track & Field; Nicki Farwell gets 7 th for LJ, district champ Fastpitch; optimistic 2009 season, loaded with seniors!
