5 Flying Ducks: Date: Monday, March 21 th : During the last 15 minutes of each lunch, one person from every SDR class will come up to the stage. Objects are set up as basketball hoops and each participant gets 30 seconds to shoot as many ducks in the hoops as possible. Each size hoop has a different point value. The 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place winners will receive activity points for their teams. Rules: -15 ft. away

6 Bump: Date: Tuesday March 22 th. During the last 15 minutes of each lunch, students who signed up and any teacher who wishes to participate will go to the courtyard. The 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place winners will receive activity points for their teams. Rules: -No purposeful or harmful physical contact. -Only students who signed up and teachers will be able to participate. -You may “bump” the other player’s ball with your ball as long as it is not in their hands and/or the ball isn’t going through the hoop. Any players who bump from under the rim will automatically be out.

7 Cheer: Date: Thursday, March 24 th. Each SDR class will come up with a cheer/chant that represents the chosen NCAA team. Make sure the cheer is appropriate for school. The leadership judges will rate the cheer based on a point system Requirements for the cheer are… -60 seconds maximum -All students must be participating -No cartwheels, advanced flips, or stunts -No cross dressing -Be spirited and have lots of fun! -12 students maximum -No use of microphones and/or music -You cannot participate unless you are on your class sign- up sheet

8 Door Decorations: Door Decoration Deadline: Thursday, March 24 th by the end of SDR. Each SDR class will decorate their doorway in a way that represents the chosen NCAA team. Leadership will provide the basic materials including paper (butcher paper), markers, pencils, streamers, etc. Additional materials may be provided by the SDR teacher. Leadership will not provide blue tape. Requirements: -SDR’s name and NCAA team -Picture or drawing of the team’s emblem -Representation of SDR class -Must be appropriate -Use of BLUE tape only on doors and frames (no duct, masking, scotch, etc.) -Staples on the walls that allow staples are ok -We will score on completing the required criteria, creativity, neatness, and the overall presentation.

9 Trick Shot: Date: Friday, March 25 th. During the last 15 minutes of each lunch, students who signed up and any teacher who wishes to participate will go to the courtyard. The 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place winners will receive activity points for their teams. Rules: -Two attempts -Use of only one basketball. No “extra” props or tools -Involves only one person -You cannot participate unless you are on your class sign- up sheet

10 Scoring Guides and Team Assignments Scoring guides for the following activities will be available on Monday: Team Cheer Door Decoration Trick Shot Team Assignments will be released Monday morning!
