19 Downtown Area Vendors, entertainment, beverage garden Downtown core closed to non-essential traffic Vendors must have all applicable permits, licenses, inspection certificates, and insurance Commercial vendor: $650 Non-profit vendor: $350 Mobile vendor: $200

20 Vendor Information “No entity shall provide or sell food* or goods to the public in Knoxville on July 24, 2013 or July 25, 2013 at a location other than their regularly established place of business without obtaining a permit.” Cleanup Deposit: $100 (fully refundable) Electrical Service Request: $30 Advertise: $200 – For those who don’t need a permit, but would like to be listed on maps, signs, etc.) *Except for water provided without cost to the consumer

21 Feeding the Masses! 25-30,000 hungry participants in Knoxville! 100% eat dinner and 20% eat breakfast! – Over 50% choose to eat AT local churches with the rest split between local restaurants and official vendors. – Riders typically don’t eat dinner at schools or campgrounds. The State of Iowa will not allow local vs. non-local vendor fees. Believe us…we tried.. – Knoxville vendors will get preference in vending location.

22 Beverage Garden Staging setup on the SW corner of the Square Beverage Garden stretching north of the stage along Second Street through Main. – Capacity: ~7,000 people – Domestics (Bud/Light, Busch/Light, Michelob) – Craft (Peace Tree, Millstream, Sam Adams, etc) Tickets, wristbands, snow fencing
