2 Smart Board I already have a Smart Board with Apple TV in the Media Center. I use the Smart Board with the Smart Notebook software everyday. Because I see grades Pre-K thru Grade 3 each day, every week, I utilize the technology of Smart Notebook with the ability to link documents and websites directly into slides. It is an invaluable tool and I am very happy to have this technology. I also add slides into my Smart Notebook content so I can easily grab them for future lessons.

3 Having 24 iPads will enable me to have a 1:1 tablet for my students. They will be able to access Destiny online for use in searching the media center; utilize the eBooks and create outstanding projects using a variety of different apps from Tellagami for book trailers to YAKit Kids for our Point of Interest US Regions project. Presently our school shares 3 iPad carts and when PARCC is being administered, I lose access to the iPads for 3 weeks, 2 times a year. Cost: $599 x 24 = $14,376.00 Networking Hardware: I have a wireless router in the media center. 24 iPad Air 64GB

4 I will need a charging cart to house and charge the iPads when not in use. I will also need a power strip with a timer so the iPads don’t continuously charge overnight. The timer will turn off at a pre-designated time. Cost: $650.95 for the iPad cart $ 17.99 for the power strip from Amazon.com Networking Hardware: I have a wireless router in the media center. iPad Charging Cart

5 Wireless headphones will allow students to work independently, reading books online, and utilizing other internet programs to fully engage in iPad technology. Wireless headphones will also allow students the mobility to move about while creating finished products in the media center. The Blue Tiger headphones have a playback time of 30 hours and a standby time of 800 hours. These headphones will be perfect for my students. Cost: Blue Tiger Soundtrax for iPad Air @ $79.95 per set for a total cost of $1918.80. Headphones
