4 Communication activities, either written or oral, which happen within the organization towards specific goals Example:  Writing and sending emails  Talking on the phone  Having meetings, Tele and video conferences  Speeches and presentations  Etc. Matt Koschmann (n.d)

5  Motivate workers to achieve high performance: clarifying the expectations of employees and providing incentives for meeting or exceeding expectations  Help organization reach overall sales goals  Maintain control over employees and work environment through written human resources policies and procedures  Allow employees to interact with customers and each other (Joseph, 2014)

6  Helps employees to interact socially at work or outside  Transmission of information within organization through written or verbal communication  Business meeting and webinars help workers to communicate new strategies and procedures  Allows employees, managers and business owners to give and receive feedback (Chris Joseph, 2014)

7  Enables to judge if an organization is achieving its goals, fulfilling obligations and values (accountability)  Helps organization’s actions to be observable by outsiders  Helps organization’s activities to be open to employees, shareholders, other stakeholders, and the public (Boundless, 2015)

8  Enables employees to involve in policymaking and leaders to be accountable (Montgomery, 2014)  Helps organization to be upfront and visible about the actions it takes, and their consistency with its values  Indicates honesty and open communication (Gebler, 2011)

9  Provide credibility through communication  Help companies that offer services to raise awareness about their services  They both work as branding strategies  They both have a specific target audience and message (Yuxie, H., & J Boggs, D.,2009)

10  Define stakeholder groups though identification of:  Who are the stakeholders groups?  Why are they important?  What are their importance?  Determine communication channels  Static  Dynamic  Develop brand messages  Each message must target a specific stakeholder group (Lim, 2010)

11  Align and strengthen external and internal brand communication  Train employees to deliver consistent brand messages  Hire brand champion and brand ambassadors  Conduct brand track audits  Examine how brand communications are doing (internal & external)  Evaluate improvement in brand stakeholders’ perception (Lim, 2010)

12  Deliver products/services well with well proposition  Keep promises to their customers  Make the difference among its competitors with similar products/services  Create effective brand messages  Easy to understand  Memorable  Persuasive (Fox, 2013)

13  Use effective messengers  Impactful  Resonant  Actions driving  Practice and repeat  Keeping the messages fresh and top of mind  Focus on foundation  Strong foundation & Effective message framework  Deliver messages consistently  Repeat key messages (staff meetings, public appearances, interviews and presentations) (Fox, 2013)
