3 Stamp Act: a case study Case Study: a focus one on event, person, or group in order to develop a greater understanding of something…ie, an example In our case, we are trying to develop a greater understanding about English-Colonial relations prior to the Revolutionary War Who: British empire and the colonies When: 1765 Where: The British Colonies What: tax on various types of paper, like legal documents, magazines, playing cards, newspapers Was designed to pay for British troops’ presence in America after the 7 year’s war
