Kenya admires you! Africa admires you! The world admires you! May your unceasing fight for the right always remain a source of inspiration for mankind."

9 Leadership style (cont) Superleadership (Manz & Sims) She understands the real battle is inside: “ordinary people” making that internal shift to realize the power that is ours. Credible leaders (Kouzes & Posner) It showed the power of ordinary people. If they are given a sense of direction, which they know from their own conscience is right, they latch on. To encourage people to take social responsibility, to be aware and take a stand, rather than just complaining and coping.

12 Conclusion A woman with strong personal convictions, who in her feat to change society for the better, placed herself in harms way to carry out a vision of sustaining community and the lives of its members. Role Model for African women
