You should bring at least one copy of your rough draft and a copy of the peer review sheet. I will check these at the end of class.  Essay 2 rough draft is due on Moodle Friday by noon. 1. 6. Introduction Example  Imagine not being able to have a warm bed, fresh food, or even to be able to escape the elements. That is the reality for many Americans. Homelessness is an epidemic that needs to halt. According to The 2013 Homeless Assessment Report, “610,042 people were homeless on a given night (Henry 1). This number needs to drastically decrease. In order to solve the homeless problem, more companies should be encouraged to offer jobs to those affected.

7. Extra Credit Opportunity : Reflection  For up to ten points to be added to essay 1. It will be graded based on quality of answers and grammar. It is not just an automatic submission grade  Must be brought to class on Feb. 29.  Reflection should be typed, at least one and a half pages, double-spaced.  The reflection should include: How did you decide on your thesis? How could you have improved your thesis? What was the best support for the thesis? What was the main thing you learned about your writing style or writing in general? What was the most difficult part of the writing process to overcome? What are some things you wish you has included or done differently to improve your essay? What do you plan to do differently for essay 2?
