16 What coaches have said…
“need to have an OPEN mind” “I need to be more organised than before” “I love the fact that I wanted to try something, and wasn’t sure it would work, but you encouraged me and told me to give it a go, and it worked!” I will use a variety of techniques e.g. tactics board, demos, walk through to meet players learning styles Get the areas right e.g. SSG defending headers have a wide pitch to allow crosses STEPS “Self reflection is so important” “Don`t be scared to change things, if you think that they aren't working as well as they could be” “don`t be frightened to try new things” “Made some great friends who I will stay in contact with” talk less “Preparation, those who fail to plan and prepare will struggle to deliver an effective session” “When & how to intervene/interact with players” There are so many benefits of using a tactics board. “We watch football differently now” “By breaking down the topic into technique & skill I can see the benefits of opposed unopposed practice”  “ALWAYS PLAN A SESSION”
