2 Steps to Completing the Electronic Gap Analysis

3 Directions for the Electronic Gap Analysis Go to MCCTE Navigator (http://navigator.mccte-fsu.org )http://navigator.mccte-fsu.org Click on the Resource tab and scroll down to Gap Analysis Documents Click on “Directions for On-Line MCCTE Navigator GAP Analysis 3

4 Electronic Gap Analysis Log into MCCTE Navigator (http://navigator.mccte-fsu.org )http://navigator.mccte-fsu.org Click on Program tab & select “My Program” 4

6 6 Definition: Classification of Instructional Program (CIP) is the 6 digit number in front of the program name

9 Complete the Gap Analysis on your computer by rating each of the performance elements (indicated with a number) 9

10 Gap Analysis Rating Levels Think about your delivery and at what level you are delivering the performance element 10 4 Exceeds criteria and/or able to teach task 3 Accomplishes task to criteria 2 Accomplishes task with help 1 Exposed to the task N Not Exposed to the Task

12 Electronic Gap Analysis Note: You can click on the side bar that says “Save Changes” or click on “Save” at the end of the document. 12

13 Electronic Gap Analysis Note: You can access the measurement criteria for a performance element by clicking on the “Show Measurement Criteria” stated under the performance element 13

14 Electronic Gap Analysis For any performance element that you may have identified as delivering at a “1” or “N” level, you need to complete the plan of improvement section 14

15 Electronic Gap Analysis In the Plan section you need to identify what needs to be changed or improved to deliver the performance element at a level “2” or better 15

16 Electronic Gap Analysis In the Who section you need to type in who is going to complete the Plan 16

19 Electronic Gap Analysis You may print your Gap Analysis by clicking on “Print” at the end of the document. Once printed, place your Gap Analysis in your TRAC Notebook under Section C10 –Note: The option to export into Excel is not recommended due to formatting issues. 19

20 Electronic Gap Analysis You may now share the Gap Analysis and Plan of Improvement with your curriculum director/ principal As an Added note, you may also go to your Gap Analysis Document as an Excel file 20

21 Excel File of GAP Analysis On the Home page, click on Resources Scroll down to Gap Analysis Document Click on your CIP code and click on the most current consolidated form 21

26 LearnPort Steps Steps to get to a document: –Register on to the system –Click on the arrow to the right of the “Select a Function” window, at the top of the page –Click on “Collaboration Spaces” and then “GO” –Type in “CTE” for Keywords then click on search –Scroll down to the “Collaboration Spaces” you want to get into & click on it to open the file –Click on Content –Click on the Content piece that you want to look at 26

27 Think Steps for Saving Documents in LearnPort If you have actual documents that you wish to share they should be listed and then shared in LearnPort –Example: In Excel document type: Rubric for (standard) from (List persons name) In LearnPort go to your Cluster, CIP, Segment: save under the Segment #, Content and label with Title, Category (Planning, Delivery Resources or Assessment), and description 27

32 Collaboration Spaces Collaboration spaces are typically used to share information among a particular group of users. There are three types of collaboration spaces: private, public, and moderated 32
