6 CTE Teacher Survey Data Michigan CTE teachers teaching in a state approved program were surveyed Data was gathered on how many programs operate in career centers and high schools Teachers reported on postsecondary enrollment and job placement post graduation Teachers identified certification that their students qualify for in the program area 6

26 Report Types Reports that are the standards for the state State Program Serial Number is the standards that are the state list plus any additions made by the teachers PSN Standards that are the ones identified by the state and additional ones identified by the teacher Teacher 26

32 Reporting the “Q” Segment Only students who are completers in a program may be reported in Segment Q subsections. Course subsections reporting Segment Q can have no other segments in them 32

33 Goals for Today 33 Teams working on all 12 segments Teams: Each teacher to complete gap analysis Each team to identify resources for delivering the standards for each of the segments Goal: Each team has a facilitator, recorder, timekeeper, and reporter Team member roles:

34 Getting Started Facilitator will introduce themselves and their role Each person will introduce themselves Review the goal of the group Identify everyone’s role  Recorder  Timekeeper  Reporter Review the timeframe Set the structure for sharing ideas 34

35 Identify Delivery Strategies 35 Planning Resources Websites, textbooks, etc. Delivery Resources Ideas for presenting the standards, projects Assessment Resources Rubrics, sample formative assessments, etc. In the Excel document go to columns “F-H” to identify Teaching Delivery Strategies. As a team, identify the following:

36 Teaching Delivery Strategies Have your recorder open your Excel file Go to the Segment worksheet that you will be working with 36 Team Recorder Completes

37 Teams Identify Strategies Select the standard Select the category: Planning, Delivery Resources or Assessment Type in the information for the category  Example:  Name of the text and chapter or section  Name of the website  Description of the delivery  Name of the rubric or assessment  Also, if someone has to get the information and load it on LearnPort then list their name and what they need to do 37
