This helps in minimising the amount of dirt that is walked into the building. The windows or doors leading into the building are cleaned. First impressions are vitally important to the client and therefore to the business. This service includes for general office cleaning and tea ladies if required. INDEPTH CLEANING Regular indepth cleaning is vital to ensure a hygienic working environment. It is important that all dust, bacteria, germs and dirt is removed and in turn will eliminate bad odours and sickness. Indepth cleaning occurs in areas not reached by regular cleaning. Specialised chemicals are used in areas such as ablution facilities, flooring and tiles. CARPET CLEANING It is important to clean carpets on a regular basis in order to remove everyday dirt. Vacuuming is done on a daily basis. A daily spot-clean must take place where small areas are cleaned or when required should spillages occur. Steam cleaning of carpets cleans dirt absorbed by the carpet as well as stains not able to be removed by the vacuum. It is also important to refresh the carpet and keep the building hygienic. 4. UPHOLSTERY CLEANING Another division of Versatex is the cleaning of upholstery. Again we use the Hot Water Extraction Method or steam cleaning. We follow the same method of cleaning as that of the carpets. CEILING CLEANING Cleaning of ceilings includes the removal of dirt and grim that has accumulated through dust, smoking, car fumes, etc. We clean metal, acoustic, plastic and vinyl ceilings. When cleaning ceilings all working surfaces as well as flooring is covered in order to restrict dirt from transmitting to other surfaces. INDUSTRIAL CLEANING Cleaning of a construction site plays an important part in the beginning stages of a building. Our onsite cleaning comprises of two parts: Interim cleaning Final cleaning PROVISION OF HYGIENE SERVICES We subcontract our Hygiene Servicing to Total Hygiene and Supply of Associated Consumables to Nampak, both reputable companies. We however manage these services to eliminate the client having to deal with more than one service provider. SHOPPING CENTER CLEANING Cleaning and stocking up of the centre toilets. Cleaning of all common areas in front of the shops. Daily cleaning of walkways and public areas. PEST CONTROL We subcontract Pest Control services to a reputable company but manage these services on their behalf. COMPUTER ROOM CLEANING Deep impact cleaning of sensitive data centres and server rooms to maintain a dust-free environment is important to maintain expensive electronic equipment - see next page for more detail.

5. COMPUTER AND DATA ROOM CLEANING Cleaning within a computer room or Data center plays an important role in maintaining a healthy working environment not only for the employees but also for the equipment. Cleaning of the equipment ensures that the machinery runs at its peak performance and decreases the chances of unwanted downtime. In order to keep the equipment working at peak performance there are certain cleaning services and cleaning techniques used to maintain this performance of the data and computer equipment. Under floor Plenum Cleaning A computer room or data center has a plenum that runs below the raised floor. It is vital to keep this area clean and dust free in order to ensure the continuous cool and dust free air flow to the sensitive equipment. Should this dust be left or a build up of dust accumulates the air flow will carry this up to the equipment causing disruptions or cause the hardware to work harder to keep cool. It is vital to maintain this cleaning to help protect your equipment. A cleaning team depending on the size of the data room is split and each starts at opposite ends and meets in the middle. One row of tiles is cleaned at a time. Each tile is lifted with tile lifters in order to ensure the tiles are not damaged. Due to the limited amount of space under floor the Hepa Filtered Vacuum cleaners are used to clean the pipes under the tiled floor. Special extension pipes are attached to these Vacuums in order to reach all areas under floor. When vacuuming is taking place special care is taken with the Buzz Bars and any other potential threat to the client’s property and one another’s safety. Once the under floor is cleaned and dust free the tiles are wiped down and replaced in the same position as removed. Staff are required to wear the correct Protective clothing. This includes safety boots, gloves and dust masks (dependent on each site). This ensures the safety and well being of the cleaning staff. Above Floor Cleaning Data and computer cleaning uses techniques to remove dust and dirt from the environment. Many of the data centers are a live environment and therefore we ensure that NO water is taken into the data centers. Our experienced staff use equipment in good working condition specific to the sensitive computer environment. Environmental friendly cleaning chemicals are used with Lint free cloths. A new enzyme based wipe is used to wipe down all surfaces. Surface cleaning includes air ducting, access flooring, substructure frames, variation of metal pipes and cable cages/ conduits. The enzyme wipe is used to kill any form of harmful microbe bacteria present in the data center. It is important to ensure the floor tiles are kept clean to ensure the reduction of static on the floor. Hepa Filter Vacuum cleaners are used to remove any dust particles lying on the surface of the tiled floors.

6. STADIUM CLEANING Versatex currently holds the cleaning contract for the Wanderers Cricket Stadium. and Supersport Park. This cleaning demands pro-active and immediate response. The cleaning takes place before, during and after matches and includes the following: Toilet cleaning Suite cleaning Cleaning of Passages Emptying of bins Cleaning of stairs and rails Window cleaning Cleaning of chairs Cleaning of paving areas Cleaning of Function Rooms Further, Versatex organises and controls certain services for the stadium: Organising of waste removal Organising and Control of Toilet Consumables Organising and Control of Pest Control Control of Hygiene services Stadium cleaning is high in staff compliment and organisational skills must be at a maximum.
