EVAAS Roster Verification May 4, 2016

Getting There Google EVAAS, click top hit, then log in Click here if you can’t remember username or password. You’ll get an email with that information.

Getting There Hover over reports and then click on “ Teacher Roster Verification Summary” at end of list

Choose Appropriate Term (It should default to spring.)

View Each Roster (Only one roster per separate curriculum you are assigned.)

Claiming Student + Teacher Assignment  First adjustable column  Where teachers adjust for late enrollments or withdrawals 1) Click yellow exclamation point in grade book to see the exact dates. 2) Use provided calendars to determine % of assignment.  Where teachers adjust for homebound students—treat them as excessive absences and calculate  Where teachers adjust for excessive absences, either student or teacher (can adjust for more than 10 consecutive absences or more than 18 non-consecutive absences). Count up total absences and divide by 90 to get % IF they qualify as excessive.

Claiming Your % of Instruction  Second adjustable column  For majority, this column will remain 100%  Where inclusion model teachers adjust  Only adjust percentages for EC students. Reg. ed. students remain at 100% for reg. ed. teacher. Days of EC teacher in class/week Reg Ed teacherEC teacher 280%20% 370%30% 550%

Claiming Your % of Instruction  Where teachers can adjust if classes were swapped between teachers, or if one teacher left to teach at another school and a permanent replacement teacher was named (not long-term sub).  To calculate this column, count the number of days you were the teacher of record and divide by 90.

Once verified, SUBMIT (But don’t submit until ALL are correct!)  Teachers must verify ALL rosters associated with their account before submitting ANY.  Once all rosters for every assigned curriculum have been checked for student + teacher assignment and % of instruction, the teacher will go to  Roster Verification Summary, and below the list of rosters, he/she will click a button labeled, Summit All Rosters.  Once rosters are submitted, they are sent on to your principal, and teachers can make no further changes without the principal returning the rosters back to them, so ONLY SUBMIT AFTER ALL ARE CORRECTLY VERIFIED.
