4 Ballot on SCC42 Representative Appointment Closed on October 14 14 responses, 14 in favor14 responses Discussion Notes None received 4Standards Activities Board Do you support recommending the reappointment of Paul Nikolich as the Computer Society’s representation to Standards Coordinating Co0mmittee 42 – Transportation? Background: Last year, Paul Nikolich was appointed the Computer Society’s representative to SCC42 by the 2014 CS President for a one year term. That term is expiring and the SAB needs to provide a recommendation to the 2015 CS President, Tom Conte regarding this appointment. This year, it is proposed that the SAB recommends to the ExCom that the four existing representatives continue in their roles. Attached are four documents outlining those appointments. 6 SAB Sponsor Executive Committee Ballot to Approve Joint Procedure Document Documents were distributed to the SAB SEC on 1/13 Ballot closed on 1/21, 2016 5 responses received, all in favor Discussion Notes Robson asked for clarification of sales by the IEEE and NSF and received the following from Humenick: We cooperate on the development but "compete" on sales...so, a true “coop-etition.” 6Standards Activities Board Paul Eastman moved that the SAB Sponsor Exec Committee vote to approve a joint procedure document for the IEEE and the NSF, as submitted for review by Noelle Humenick. A 7 day email ballot (used for IEEE CS Board and committee administrative matters) shall be used.
