3 Criterion Referenced Tests -2 State CRTs in ELA and Math window opened 3/30 – Several hundred tests completed the first week Measured Progress continuing to work with Smarter and AIR to update software. 4 End of Course Exams Spring 2015 ELA I/II and Math I/II – May 4 – 29 Manuals to be delivered with assessments Test developed by vendors – Paper and pencil – Intent to move online State Board to hear proposed change to regulations regarding implementation of Science NOTE: Science (Gr. 10) remains federal accountability requirement.

7 College & Career Readiness Assessment Starting with the graduation cohort of 2016 all 11 th grade students required to participate in a college and career readiness assessment. For 2014-15, students will take the ACT plus Writing April 28 with make-up May 12 (Gr. 11) ACT Data Interpretation workshops April 20- 23 – Elko, Reno, Carson, Las Vegas

10 Test Security All state test security regulations remain in effect Testing irregularities reported as in previous years Investigations start with LEA with follow-up by NDE Data forensics now conducted for each administration

11 Looking forward Nevada Assessment System out for Bids – RFP released on 3/10/2015 – Proposals due on 4/29/2015 – Selection of new vendor 5/20/2015 Standard setting for EoC: Math I & Math II – Need participation from teachers, spring 2015 – Need participation from teachers, administrators, and community, summer (July) 2015
