6 More about money for support All academic staff receive research support allocation from AARM and possibly top-up from Academic Group PASAs Income from consultancy carried out for ABS, from Centre for Executive Development activities and from the individual’s share of FEC payments from research grants May be spent on conference attendance, equipment purchase, professional subscriptions and other research activities Support for researchers comes under the terms of the grant financing you Teaching support (payment for tutorials, marking) must be organised through the Group, not by the individual academic
