2 Purpose of the Workshop was to provide: A forum to share information about integrating PMTCT and ART A platform to help plan our way forward Workshop on ART in Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Beyond

3 Next steps following the Workshop: Headquarters team: Provide slides and report from the workshop as soon as possible Participants from each country team: Meet and discuss what you have learned from the workshop and decide what this means for your programs Adult Treatment & Peds/PMTCT Technical Working Groups: Create an administrative platform to provide technical support for integration of ART and PMTCT Workshop on ART in Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Beyond

6 Proposed support for integration of ART and PMTCT from the Adult Treatment & Peds/PMTCT Technical Working Groups: Communication o For example, organizing and supporting future forums and other opportunities for technical exchange Standardization o For example, providing guidance and coordination for pharmacovigilance and support for costing studies across countries Workshop on ART in Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Beyond

7 Proposed support for integration of ART and PMTCT from the Adult Treatment & Peds/PMTCT Technical Working Groups: Quality o For example, helping to establish and monitor standards for retention, adherence and drug resistance Representation and Advocacy o For example, providing technical guidance to senior PEPFAR leadership regarding the integration of ART and PMTCT Workshop on ART in Pregnancy, Breastfeeding, and Beyond
