2  Develop an allopathic medical school in Southwest Virginia  Have a profound impact on the quality of life in the region by increasing the quality of healthcare and stimulating the economy  Utilizing a modern medical education curriculum that is fully integrated and taught in small groups that can allow our students to better retain and learn  Recruit the brightest minds from within the region, train them in the best environment, and enable them to practice medicine at the highest level in Southwest Virginia.  Build a medical education building designed with the modern curriculum in mind, creating an environment conducive to stimulating minds and excellence in medical education, teaching and research.  State of the art simulation center – designed to introduce students to the greatest variance of learning scenarios to ensure  Clinical rotations with partnering hospital systems and physicians.  Deliver desperately needed medical care in the region, thus encouraging students to remain here for a fruitful, fulfilling and impactful career at home.
