FTTH/FTTB Triple-Play Service: Internet, Phone, IPTV/CATV
In addition to Carrier Ethernet, the other choice for Carriers and residential users to enjoy cost-effective triple play services is based on the Passive Optical Network (PON) technologies.
Specifically, EPON technology is the PON implementation over Ethernet, which is being the System Architecture commonly used for FTTx. Compliant with all IEEE standards, Raisecom EPON product family includes Optical Line Termination (OLT) system deployed at the central office as well as several models of FTTH and FTTB Optical Network Units (ONU) deployed at the customer's premises. (In addition, Raisecom also offers xPON OLT supporting both GPON and EPON technologies)
