1 Student InterventionsImplementation NeedsCommunication Strategy Career portfoliosHard copy during 8 th gradeAdvisory period 3rd grade students will read appropriate literature such as Arthur’s Pet Business On-line coloring book www.pacareerstandards.org Using preview and acceleration (LFS), homeroom teacher will do a guided read-aloud of selected literature; teachers will have students complete the resume in the on-line coloring book, prior to JA volunteers teaching in the elementary classrooms

5 Postsecondary Interventions Implementation NeedsCommunication Strategy “Pearls of Wisdom” – bring alumni (1-5 years out of high school) back to talk to juniors and seniors Identify and contact a diverse group of recent graduates and determine an effective group (i.e. college graduates, college drop- outs, military, work force) to address the students Graduates will address members of the junior and senior classes regarding post- secondary challenges and successes
