2. Introduction  The instructions provided will help you learn how to submit an assignment via eCampus for a Dallas Community College District (DCCCD) course. It is vital for you, as a student, to know how to submit your completed assignments via eCampus Blackboard database to ensure your work is received and graded by the professor.  The instructions provided will be on how to submit assignments via eCampus under the section or tab labeled: Submit Work HERE  After reading the step-by-step instructions, you will be able to successfully submit an assignment through eCampus Blackboard database.  Note: For these instructions, the terms “eCampus” and “Blackboard” are used interchangeably.

4. List of Materials 1) Login and password information 2) Desktop computer or laptop with internet access 3) Microsoft Word (versions 2003-2010) 4) Windows Media Player (to view instructional video)

Step-by-Step Instructions 1) Go to the DCCCD eCampus/Blackboard website:  https://blackboard2.dcccd.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp https://blackboard2.dcccd.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp 2) Log in using your username and password 3) Scroll to the My Courses section on your eCampus homepage 4) Choose the course for which you need to submit your assignment for  i.e. Tech Writing, Fall 2012 5) Go to the Assignments tab. 6) Select the assignment instructions that you need to complete. 7) Complete and Save the assignment in the appropriate format as specified by your professor  Example formats: rtf., doc., PDF, etc.

Step-by-Step Instructions (continued) 8) Click on Submit Work HERE tab on the left side of the page 9) Choose the assignment link for which you need to submit your work for 10) Click the Browse My Computer button to search computer files 11) Locate the completed assignment/file 12) Click Open to upload the file 13) Click onto the Submit button 14) When an exclamation mark appears, your assignment has been successfully submitted
