3 Tidal Turbine Test Apparatus OBJECTIVE: – To develop re-applicable Power Curves of scaled down models of Tidal Turbines. Dynamometer for Drag Force on the Turbine Apparatus Housing of instrumentation APPARATUS The apparatus will be bolted underneath the movable carriage to model tidal flow past the turbine in the 100’ Wave Tank. Streamlined Keel VISION : – To complete the ground work necessary to begin Tidal Turbine research for application as an alternative energy source in the State of Maine
