3 AICE Diploma The AICE courses can lead to a Cambridge AICE Diploma The AICE Diploma can lead to a Florida Academic Bright Futures Scholarship –ACT/SAT test scores and GPA requirements are waived –Students must earn 100 hours of community service

4 Do colleges and universities accept AICE courses and the AICE Diploma? All Florida Universities award college credit for AICE courses just as they do for AP. Over 450 US universities accept AS and A Level courses including all Ivy League and Ivy Plus universities.

5 AICE Academy Goal: An AICE Diploma o Advanced International Certificate of Education o Study and exams at Cambridge AS and A Levels o Subjects from five curricular areas o Mathematics and Science o Languages o Arts and Humanities o CORE: Global Perspectives AS Level o Interdisciplinary and Skills Based

6 What do students have to do to earn an AICE Diploma? o Students must pass the AICE exams to earn points to get the diploma. o Obtain at least 7 credits within 25 months o Obtain at least 1 credit in each of 3 main curriculum groups o Earn 1 credit of AS Global Perspectives o Apply to Cambridge for the AICE Diploma junior/senior year

7 AICE Diploma as of June 2017 To obtain an AICE Diploma, you must accumulate 7 credits by passing AS Global Perspectives and at least one exam from three different subject groups (within 25 months). Group 4 is optional with a maximum of two credits that can be used towards the diploma requirements.
