4 Classification A Hexapoda is a group of insects instead of family their called a Hexapoda. Hexapoda All insects have the same body parts and are classified as Hexapodas. They all have six legs to move.On their heads they have two antennae for feeling their environment. Their bodies are made of an abdomen, head and thorax. The thorax is the upper body. Even though insect look different they are made the same. Back

They live in very hot places and very cold places.They can also live underground, in peoples homes and even other animals Each type of insect has special features that help it adapt to it’s environment.Keep your eyes open for insects every where. Insects do lots of things that we like but some insects do things that we don’t like.We like them making honey, Pollinating flowers and serving as food for the animals.We don’t like them to sting us, bite us or get in our eyes or hair. We also don’t like them looking scary.If we did not have insects we would not have flowers or trees so we would die because we would not have air to breathe. Back

8 What Do They Eat ? Insects eat just about anything.There are so many different insects and each one may eat something different.Lots of them eat plants some of them eat other insects.Some of them eat blood (like mosquitoes).Nectar from plants is also a popular food.Some insects eat fruit.Many insects(like cockroaches or ants)will be happy to polish off the food you drop on the ground. 11 Bees Help Us By... Bees help us by well several ways the most apparent is that they make honey which we in our food so we should thank them. Bees also help by pollinating flowers so we can have air so we can breathe and live.
