5 RETRIEVAL Locating stored information and returning it to conscious thought Keyboard (Encoding) Disk (Storage) Monitor (Retrieval)

7 CONTEXT-DEPENDENT MEMORIES Information that is more easily retrieved in the context in which it was encoded and stored

8 STATE-DEPENDENT MEMORIES Information is more easily retrieved when one is in the same psychological or emotional state as when the memory was encoded

9 ON THE TIP OF THE TONGUE Belief that a piece of information is stored in our memory but there is a problem retrieving it
